SLIM Therapeutics was founded with a single purpose: to give the Vero Beach community access to the same medically supervised GLP-1 weight loss programs that have transformed millions of lives nationwide — delivered with the warmth and personal attention only a local clinic can provide. We have grown and are now able to offer a more comprehensive approach to wellness and longevity medicine, including hormone optimization and peptide therapy.

Charissa Wright is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and a passion for helping patients optimize their health at every stage of life. Drawing on extensive experience in primary care, women’s health, metabolic medicine, and hormone optimization, Charissa joined Slim Therapeutics with a simple philosophy: exceptional healthcare should be personalized, proactive, and rooted in evidence, not one-size-fits-all solutions. She believes lasting wellness is achieved by looking to understand the whole person, creating individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique health goals, lifestyle, and needs. Known for her thoughtful, relationship-centered approach, Charissa believes the best outcomes come from partnering with patients through education, accountability, and ongoing support. She is committed to remaining at the forefront of medical research and delivering innovative, evidence-based care with compassion and clinical excellence. Whether helping patients pursue sustainable weight management, optimize hormone health, or improve their overall well-being, Charissa’s mission is to empower every patient to live with greater vitality, confidence, and quality of life. Outside the clinic, Charissa enjoys spending time with her cherished family, incredible friends and embracing the coastal lifestyle she proudly calls home in Vero Beach.
