Semaglutide is one of the two GLP-1 medications named on the SLIM Therapeutics services page. It is an FDA-approved GLP-1 receptor agonist. The clinic describes it as a medicine that reduces appetite, slows digestion, and helps the body regulate blood sugar, used together with clinical support.
What the services page says is included
The published semaglutide program lists an initial clinical consultation and health history review, a personalized dosing protocol, a monthly medication supply, ongoing provider check-ins and dosage adjustments, and nutritional guidance with lifestyle support. That list is the program, not a promise of a particular result.
- Initial clinical consultation and health history review
- Personalized dosing protocol
- Monthly medication supply
- Ongoing provider check-ins and dosage adjustments
- Nutritional guidance and lifestyle support
Who it is for
The services page says semaglutide is ideal for adults with a BMI of 27 or higher who want medically supervised weight loss. The FAQ adds the usual prescribing frame: a BMI of 27 or higher with a weight-related condition, or a BMI of 30 or higher. Neither page asks you to decide that yourself. The clinician reviews your history at a consultation and decides whether treatment is appropriate.
Semaglutide is not the same visit as bioidentical hormone therapy or testosterone therapy. Those are separate programs on the services page. If hormones are the reason you are calling, say so when you book so the appointment matches the question.
How a visit starts
The first step on the services page is a free phone consultation. You talk with the clinical team about your health history and goals. There is no charge and no commitment for that conversation. You can book a free consultation (opens in a new tab), use the contact form, or call. The form asks you not to include sensitive health information; the history is taken in the consultation.
